Who we are

Little Sprout (littlesproutlondon.com) is a free resource for new and expectant parents. We are an independently run website created and maintained by parents, for parents.

What data we collect

We only collect data that is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information — your name and email address when you register. Used solely to identify your account and enable personalised features.
• Checklist progress — which items you have checked off. Stored against your account so your progress is saved across devices.
• Milestones and photos — milestone notes and photos you choose to upload. These are private to your account (and your family group, if you join one).
• Suggestions — if you submit a restaurant, activity or checklist suggestion, we store your name, email and the content of your suggestion.
• Analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. This is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track individuals.

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Little Sprout service
• To save your checklist progress and milestones
• To allow you to share progress with a family group partner
• To review and respond to suggestions you submit
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not send marketing emails

Cookies

Little Sprout uses minimal cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in to your account. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted infrastructure provider with servers in the EU. Passwords are never stored in plain text — authentication is handled securely via Supabase Auth. The site is served over HTTPS at all times.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Object to how we use your data

Children's privacy

Little Sprout is designed for use by parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Milestone photos and data you add about your child are stored under your adult account and are your responsibility to manage.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of Little Sprout after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
